Primary Historical Resources on the Web

Historical research is made of items which arrive to us from the time of the events which we are documenting. The arrival of the World Wide Web in bringing these rare and important materials to students, historians, researchers, and others allows for more comprehensive understanding of the times and events in the past.

This site is dedicated to locating and presenting primary historical resources for those who seek it out, without the expense and hardship of travel. I hope that this page will also encourage institutions and individuals to continue to digitize these important remains of our past so that all may have access to them, and that they might be preserved without damage for the use of generations to come.
